I was very upset about my own equations about Volumes I have shared w/ you, refused to work properly
and I quite fall down when I realized something wrong on Volumes. Now, today, I found this
http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=155042
So, VOLUME value does not exist on MT4 platforms, the value is just number of ticks per bar ! unbelievable
if someone could share w/ us a name of a reliable platform ....

Is there a way to get the real volume of each tick in mql5. I've tried it with:
However, the editor doesn't recognize ''SYMBOL_VOLUMEASK" and "SYMBOL_VOLUMEBID" from symbol properties . I reported this as a possibe bug. then the support team replied:
"These properties were removed from MQL5 lately. Do not use them."
Now I wonder if there are any substitution for these properties (an other way to get the real volume of the ticks).
I think this is bad news for mql5 if real volume info is completely removed. Because it is very useful info (specially in analysis of spread value and the volatility)
Anyone that knows what the volume indicator is and how the forex market works will quikly realise that there is no such thing as volume for forex. The closest thing would be using futures volume as a proxy for forex volume but once again that would not be volume in its pure sence(for forex). In regard to MT volume that is a pretty worthless toll. The volume on MT is being calculated on ticks for a specific time frame and not on the number of contracs traded. The more ticks the higher the volume. To me this info is mesleading and does not hold any real value
But , here at http://www.mql5.com/en/docs/series/CopyRealVolume
CopyRealVolume
The function gets into volume_array the history data of trade volumes for the selected symbol-period pair in the specified quantity. It should be noted that elements ordering is from present to past, i.e., starting position of 0 means the current bar
but, if I understand well this subject, this is BULLSHIT
But, Dukascopy got a very interesting feature
