If you pay enough attention you will see that the screenshots cover moments of very clear and particular market states.
During those times all directionnal indicator systems will perform nicely.
For me, this is one of the biggest falacies in the whole indicator based technical analysis. The never ending quest for the "right technical indicators", a.k.a the "Holy Grail technical indicator".
Why?
Maybe it would be a good idea to make an article where I would argument those statements.
So for now for the new readers I am asking to refer to the group of market states analyse.
On the other hand the professional discretionary traders stick with a few technical indicators, some of them really very basic.
Why?
From psy perspective the human brain and a neural net operate in the same way based on inputs they use a black box and they get a result. In order to do so you need to train your tools on market data.
All indicators, chart patterns, overall market structure, price action patterns, fundamental information and rumours are an input into the human black box mind, corrupted by noise (greed and fear).
And as a result you have an output: trading decision.
So by changing constantly the market indicators there is a risk that you may sabotage yourself, by confusing your mind.
Maybe that is the reason price action specialists to perform somewhat better, that is because a chart is a chart it can't be optimized lol.
And professional traders stick with their favorite indicators for years. The more you use an indicator more it will make sense to you. 4 technical indicators are more than enough.
Yes of course it is possible to optimize a technical indicator to the current market conditions.
But then you are using the meta model of the market states and that is a different paradigme.
