As I mentionned I am interested in the cycles of the Tic volume when they are related with the volatility.
As it was mentionned the Tic Volume is not the real volume, as the Forex market is not centralized. And some argue that the use of volume is pointless in the Forex trading. Howver there are others that swear by tic volume and use VSA (Volume spread analysis) in Forex. There are very big threads in Forex Factory about this way of analysis (Malcolm is the most prominent author out there as far as I know).
Here I compared the readings by exporting the data from MT4 in a CSV format and I plotted the date with Rapid Miner (Well it was not necessary to do that we could use excel sheets too).
Here are the results the Tic Volume cycles are the same. I am not really interested in the values, I am interested in the repeating cycles.

unbelievable the differences between Delta Stock and interbank FX.
The Dealing Desk shows what it wants to the traders
Those charts are rather old by now 65 days ago. What it matters to me:
1. There are cycles of tick activity
2. Even if the numbers do not match the cycles match
